The Gold Coast is a vibrant coastal city in the south-east corner of Queensland, approximately 66 kilometres south of Brisbane and immediately north of the border with N.S.W. With 57 kilometres of coastline and beyond, vast, sub-tropical rainforests with breathtaking scenery it is an amazing place to live. Mudgeeraba is a pretty, historic village which skirts the fringes of the Gold Coast and sits at the foot of the Gold Coast Hinterland – known as “the green behind the gold”, it is approximately 12 kilometres inland from the coast. Mudgeeraba is divided from the eastern side of the Gold Coast by the M1 (Pacific Motorway) just a few minutes’ drive from the huge commercial centre that is Robina, but having not lost its feeling of “country”, it encapsulates the feeling of being a million miles away from the hustle bustle of city life.
Mudgeeraba covers an area of about 1317 hectares or around 13 square kilometres (3254 acres) and has a recorded a population of 13,624 (at the 2016 Australian Census).

There is a range of shopping spots and options – including major food stores, Aldi, Coles and Woolworths, boutique shops and cafes and dining experiences (check out the organic fruit market located within Mudgeeraba Market Shopping Centre) with its unique outdoor courtyard garden - the perfect place to relax with a coffee.
In the centre of town you'll find an open green space known as “the village green”. Here you’ll find trees to relax under and simple facilities – the perfect place to stop and take a breath or take in one of the local events provided free of charge for the locals year-round.
If you're looking for all the major retailers, you’ll find them in neighbouring Robina just 2 kilometres away on the east side of the M1 Motorway.
This master-planned community boasts some of the most impressive shopping and recreation facilities in Queensland.
Robina Town Centre is the second largest shopping centre on the Gold Coast with over 400 shops, restaurants and cinemas covering over 130,000 square metres. Several other shopping centres surround the Town Centre with major retail brands and Bunnings Warehouse. Robina also has a growing commercial hub and large motor dealership precinct.
From Mudgeeraba it is a short drive east to our City's famous beaches and just 20 minutes drive south to Gold Coast Domestic & International Airport. Go west and you'll find the gateway to the spectacular World-Heritage listed Springbrook National Park. Its breathtaking views, thundering waterfalls and ancient flora are only 30 minutes’ drive away but another world - where nature, heritage and community come together.
The other suburbs which surround Mudgeeraba are Tallai, Worongary, Merrimac, Austinville, Bonogin & Reedy Creek.
